About the NEW YORK NOOSE 1213 The Kryptonite New York Noose 1213 Chain Lock and Padlock is a high security chain. It has been tried and tested in the streets of New York! Sporting 12 mm six-sided hexagonal chain links made from triple heat-treated boron manganese steel for ultimate strength, it includes a larger cinch ring. The narrow inner width of individual links prevent leverage attacks. The EV series 4 Disc lock has flat keyway locking mechanism for extensive holding power with high picking resistance. There is a patented, ovalized, extra-strong crossbar to withstand pull force and cut force. A 14mm ovalised hardened steel shackle completes static security. The disc cylinder now includes an anti-float feature to keep the discs from moving and readjusting when in transit. The long chain is versatile and easy to use. Both the chain and lock defy bolt cutters, saws, hammers and chisels. Weatherproof protective nylon covering allows easy coiling for transporting and storing; it protects paintwork. The design benefits from a sliding dustcover that protects and extends cylinder life.
